Men's Lacrosse Hosts The Gators For Their Season Opener

Wells College men's lacrosse hosted the Russell Sage College Gators on Sunday afternoon. This was the first game of the season for Wells College and the third for Sage. 

The Gators wasted no time scoring three times in the first five minutes. It would take until the second quarter for the Express to get on the board for the first time this season. First-year midfielder John Favata scored his first collegiate goal 2 minutes into the second quarter. Later, Dakota Swamp buried the day's second goal for Wells College as time expired to take us to halftime. For the day, the Gators outshot the Express 56-7. Issac Craft leads the Express in goal with eight saves. Wells College would score once again in the fourth quarter on an unassisted goal from Jacob Stein. However, the Gators would win this one 23-3. 

Men's lacrosse will host Cobleskill next Saturday at 1 PM.
