Wells College men's lacrosse hosted the MCLA trailblazers this afternoon for another non-conference match-up.
The Trailblazers grabbed an early 2-0 lead in the first five minutes but then Jacob Stine for the Express scored back-to-back unassisted goals to tie this one up at 2 goals apiece. Stine would find the back of the back two more times before the end of the first quarter and keep the Express in a tight match, 5-4. MCLA began to pull away a bit in the second quarter taking an 11-5 lead into halftime. In the second half, Dakota Swamp and Jacob Stine would continue the scoring for Wells College. The Express were outshot 58-20 by the Trailblazers which made too difficult for the Express to mount a comeback. Isaac Craft had 23 saves on the day. Wells fell by a score of 17-8.
Men's lacrosse will play at FLCC on Friday!
