Men's Lacrosse Takes On the Roo's

Wells College men's lacrosse traveled to SUNY Canton on Saturday for their second non-conference game of the season.

The Roo's of SUNY Canton got the scoring started early in this one breaking out a 4-0 lead in the first five minutes. The Express defense struggled to hold back SUNY Canton and found themselves down 10-0 after one-quarter of play. In the second quarter, the Wells Express got on the board with two goals by Jake Stine, his second and third goal of the season. 

The SUNY Canton offense would continue to roll in the second half taking a 21-3 lead into the fourth quarter. Dakota Swamp and Jake Stine both scored in the 4th quarter but the Roo's of SUNY Canton took this one, 24-4. Isaac Craft had 16 total saves on the day on a 40% save rate.

Men's Lacrosse will be back in action Wednesday, March 22nd when they host Keuka College.
