Men's Lacrosse Celebrates Seniors at Home

Wells College men's lacrosse hosted the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers on Tuesday night while celebrating their seniors.

Wells scored the first goal of the game when Jacob Stine assisted Dakota Swamp to grab a 1-0 lead early in the game. Finger Lakes however would do some scoring of their own and take a 5-2 lead after the first. Jacob Stine scored the second goal for Wells College. The Express were held scoreless in the second quarter and went into halftime down by a score of 8-2. Dakota Swamp, Dan Stevens, John Favata, and Jake Stine all scored in the third quarter for Wells, but they headed into the fourth quarter still down six, 12-6. Two more goals from Jake Stine and another goal from John Favata cut the lead down to four with 11 minutes to play. Unfortunately, that is as close as the Express would get the rest of the game as Wells fell at home, 19-12.

Joe Matala, Nathan Soliman, and Mohamed Rzane will be leaving the Express after this season and graduating soon. thank you all for your dedication to the men's lacrosse program!

Men's lacrosse will finish their season on the road this Saturday at Penn College.
