Aurora, N.Y.- The Wells College softball team fell 6-3 and 9-6 to the Penn. St. Berks Nittany Lions in North Eastern Athletic Conference action Friday afternoon in Aurora, N.Y. With the two losses the Express now stand at 9-13 and 7-9 in the NEAC, while Berks improves to 14-17 and 13-5 in the NEAC.
Paige Stone paced the Express in both games going 3 for 7 from the plate, while Aly Mann and Lorelei Meier each chipped in with two hits apiece.
Marlee Manwiller led the Nittany Lions going 6 for 9 from the plate, while driving in a team leading five RBI's over the two games.
The Express return to action tomorrow in a double-header against NEAC opponent Penn. St. Abington set for 12:00 p.m. in Aurora, N.Y.
