Women’s Lacrosse All-Decade Team

The Wells College 2020 All-Decade Team in women's lacrosse comprises student-athletes that participated during the spring seasons between 2011-20. The team consists of 10 selections with two honorable mentions. Its composition is based with no fewer than three selections from each position excluding goalkeeping and each selection earning all-conference.

The 2020 All-Decade team includes (alphabetically): Sarah Allen (20110-12), Madeline Bass (2010-13), Anna Bozeat (2017-19), Quinn Doubet (2015-18), Andrea Gould (2013-16), Courtney Grosser (2011-12), Mackenzie Maloney (2016-19), Miranda Mingen (2017, 2019), Julia Smith (2016-19) and Savannah Tucker (2012-13).

Bozeat was selected as the team's all-decade goalkeeper after three seasons with Wells. Bozeat was named all-conference in each of her three seasons with 401 saves in 39 appearances over that span. In over 2,200 minutes, she finished with a 13.83 goals-against average and a 43.6 save percentage.

The three all-decade defensive selections were all on the 2017 team together, although their careers span different years. The all-decade defense women's lacrosse team consists of Smith, Mingen and Doubet. Smith earned an all-conference defensive selection in 2019, although she played other positions that allowed her to accumulate 105 offensive points, while adding 106 groundballs, 61 caused turnovers and 56 draw controls. Mingen scooped 62 groundballs, won 88 draw controls and had 29 caused turnovers in two seasons of play. She earned all-conference as a defender although she added 31 goals as a midfielder. Doubet was a backliner for all of her four seasons and earned all-conference at defense in her senior season. Her career totals include 89 groundballs and 29 caused turnovers.

Of the three midfielders selected to the all-decade team, Bass was a four-time all-conference selection. Her career numbers include 125 goals, 44 assists, 169 points, 142 groundballs, 129 draw controls and 60 caused turnovers. Joining Bass with one all-conference selection each at midfield are Tucker and Gould. Tucker had 103 groundballs over two seasons and added 52 goals, 10 assists, 62 points, 82 draw controls and 33 caused turnovers. Gould had the highest number of groundballs of any midfielder with 157 and added 62 goals, 85 draw controls and 71 caused turnovers.

Of the three all-decade attack selections, Maloney joins Bass as the only members to garner four all-conference nods each. All three of the attackers earned multiple all-conference selections and averaged 37 goals or more per-season. Maloney averaged almost 60 goals per-season for four years and finished with 236 goals, 93 assists, 329 points, 198 groundballs, 249 draw controls and 93 caused turnovers. Allen averaged just shy of 50 goals per-season in her three seasons and finished with 148 goals, 24 assists, 172 points, 67 groundballs, 58 draw controls and 31 caused turnovers. Grosser averaged 37.5 goals in her two seasons and finished with 75 goals, 24 assists for 99 points.

Earning honorable mention was Savanah Connors (2017-20) and Elizabeth Barclay (2009-11). Connors earned a pair of all-conference nods at different positions and Barclay was a three-time all-conference selection in goal.
