The Wells College softball team wrapped up its regular season with a doubleheader against visiting Penn College on Thursday, May 6.
In the first game, Wells gave up a double-digit first inning but only a pair of runs separated the teams the rest of the way.
Jenna Devora (San Antonio, Tx.) took the loss from the circle and recorded a hit for the Express.
In the second game, the Express plated three hits and got on the board early with a first-inning run. The Wildcats responded with another double-digit inning that made a potential rally challenging.
Olivia Maish (Palmdale, Calif.) had two hits and scored a run for Wells, while taking the pitching loss. Jennifer McCumber (Albany, N.Y.) also had a hit, while Devora registered an RBI.
