Softball Takes On Penn State Harrisburg

Wells College softball hosted Penn State Harrisburg for another conference doubleheader on Saturday afternoon.

In game one, Harrisburg scored in each inning except for the fifth. They produced fifteen runs on fifteen hits with 2 fielding errors by the Express. On offense, Natalie Day singled to center field in the first followed by a single from Serina Sheradin. Those would be the only two hits in game one for Wells College. The Express dropped game one by a score of 15-0. In game two, the Express scored one run on one hit. That one run came in the fifth inning when Morgan Brown walked, stole second, and then scored on a ground out by Nicketa Utter. Penn State Harrisburg on the other hand, scored thirteen runs on thirteen hits and some of those runs came after errors were committed in the field by Wells College. Harrisburg won game two, 13-1.

Softball will be in action again Tuesday at Keuka College!
