Softball Swept by Penn State Harrisburg

Wells College softball continued their conference schedule today when they took on the Penn State Harrisburg Nittany Lions.

The first game for the Express saw them struggle at the plate. They did not produce a single hit in game 1 and tallied 7 strikeouts. Megan Litzenberegr pitched a complete game 1 for Wells College. Wells fell 13-0 in game one. In game two, Lauren Kimball pitched her first complete game of the season. The offense though would break the drought when Serina Sheradin singled in the top of the first. Shay Gonzales would smack another hit for Wells College in the fourth inning when she singled to left field. Unfortunately, 4 errors from the Express and a potent Harrisburg offense led to a Harrisburg win in game two, 21-0.

Softball will return to action at home this Tuesday against SUNY Poly at 3 PM.
