Fourth Career All-NEAC Honor For Rich Ross

Wells College men's basketball senior Rich Ross earned all-conference honors for the fourth year in a row as he was voted to the North Eastern Athletic Conference Second Team. The 2018-19 All-NEAC teams and individual award winners were announced Thursday, Feb. 21.

Ross was the leading scorer for Wells with 18.0 points per game and second on the team in rebounding with 6.3 rebounds per game. Ross ranked fifth overall among NEAC players in scoring for the season. Within conference games, Ross averaged 16.5 points per game.

Ross was voted to the First Team as a freshman and sophomore and was also NEAC Player of the Year as a sophomore in the 2016-17 season. He was a Second Team honoree as a junior for the 2017-18 season.

Ross, from the Bronx, finished his career as the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,882 career points. He is a business major with minors in psychology and sport management.

The all-conference teams honored the top-18 players in the NEAC, regardless of position. Each head coach in the league cast a ballot ranking nominated players (up to four from each institution). Coaches were not permitted to vote for their team's nominees.
