Men's Basketball Falls In Season Opener

Wells College men's basketball opened their season on the road in a non-conference match-up against Keuka College. In the finger lakes match-up, the Wolves got the best of the Express 92-63.

The Express fell behind early in this one when the Wolves took a 13-4 lead. A quick time-out and baskets from Jalen Felix and Jarek Felix cut the lead to 13-9. For the rest of the half, the Express would struggle to produce quality looks at the hoop. A bright spot in the first half was a newcomer to Wells College Billy McCrae who had 18 points in the half. The Wolves would build a 46-31 lead before halftime. 

In the second half, the same struggles showed up for the Express. The Express would go 10 for 21 at the foul line leaving 11 points behind. The Express would also have 16 turnovers while only creating 8 assists. Nothing seemed to go their way and they fell on the road in their season opener 92-63.
