Men's Basketball Looses in Bradford, PA

On Friday night the Wells College men's basketball team traveled to future conference opponent, Pitt Bradford. The Panthers would win this one 78-57.

Men's basketball has had 3 different starting lineups in 3 different games so far this season. Getting his first start of the season tonight was Keian Montero. In the first half, the Express struggled from behind the arch going 1-14. Pitt Bradford would go 5-13 and shoot 48% from the field helping them take a 40-29 lead into halftime.

In the second half, no Express player was able to tally more than 5 points. Wells College would turn the ball over 23 times while completing only 11 assists. The three-point shooting improved but not by much and the Express would shoot 13% (4-29) on the evening. The host, Pitt Bradford took advantage of the Express turnovers scoring 27 points off them and winning this one 78-57.

This would extend the men's basketball losing streak to 3 games.
