Men's Basketball Drops Home Game To Morrisville

Wells College men's basketball hosted the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs for a United East match-up Wednesday night. The Mustangs won this one convincingly 88-49.

The Mustangs took it to the Express early in this one jumping out to a 21-4 lead. Ransel Rodriguez would score 8 points and Marcus Buckridge scored 6, but the Mustangs held the Express to their lowest first-half total for the season, 23. At the half, the Express was down 17 points. To start the second half, Wells College would get 3 defensive stops but was only able to score on 2 of them. The Mustangs would bury back-to-back 3-pointers and that was the beginning of the end for the Express. The Mustangs would go on to outscore Wells 48-26 in the second half and win this one, 88-49. 

No Wells College player scored in double digits.
