Men's Basketball Secures Another Conference Win

Wells College men's basketball took on Penn College Tuesday night in another United East match-up. Once again, the Express were victorious, 83-82. 

In a game that would have 8 technical fouls issued, the Express faced some adversity in the first half. Billy McCrae had 18 points and Terrance Clayton-Murphy had 10 points in the first half. As a team, they shot 45% from the field but on defense the Express let the wildcats shoot 48%. Wells was also out rebounded in the first half, 13-18 and found themselves down by a score of 35-42 going into the break. The Express opened the second half on a 12-2 run over their host and grabbed a 47-44 lead. Wells forced 10 turnovers on defense which helped them hold a lead the majority of the second half. Ty McBride and Terrance Clayton-Murphy would hit free throws to seal this one on the road for Wells College. Billy McCrae (28) and Terrance Clayton-Murphy (26) lead the Express in scoring.

Men's Basketball will be back in action Friday when they host Penn State Harrisburg.
