Men's Basketball Win's Third Game In A Row

On Thursday night, the Wells College men's basketball team hosted the SUNY ESF Mighty Oaks for one of their last non-conference match-ups. The Express took it to the Oaks in this one, 115-77. 

Wells College jumped out to a considerable advantage in the first five minutes building a 24-1 lead over the mighty oaks. Terrance Clayton-Murphy had 21 first-half points for the second game in a row. Ivan Oduro-Dompreh had 10 first-half points along with 2 blocks. The Express would shoot 66% from the floor and 60% from 3-point land in the first half as a team. This led to the Express tallying their highest-ever first-half total in program history with 69 points as they took a 69-41 lead into halftime. 

The Express outscored the Mighty Oaks in the second half but only by 10 points. Some bright spots were Ivan Oduro-Dompreh who swatted 5 shots tonight. James Lucey came off the bench and scored 8 points while grabbing 7 rebounds. Also off the bench was Keian Montero who scored 11 points and dished out 5 assists. Ultimately the Express would win 115-77.

This is the third win in a row for the men's basketball team!

They will hit the road this Saturday opening up conference play at Penn State Berks.
