On Wednesday night the Wells College men's lacrosse team traveled to Sage College for an afternoon match-up.
The Express were still looking to capture their first win of the season, this time, on the road.
The scoring got started early for both teams as Sage scored in the first 30 seconds but then Quinten Battle scored for the Express to tie it up at 1. Unfortunately, the rest of the first quarter was all sage as they built a 9-1 lead at the end of 1 quarter. In the second quarter, the Gator's found the back of the net 7 more times to take a 16-1 lead into halftime.
In the second half, Quinten Battle, Jacob Stine, and Shane Syms all scored for the Express on the road against the Gator's. Russell Sage College would add 4 more goals to make the final score, 20-4.
