On a chilly Tuesday night, the Wells College Express took on the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs in a conference match-up.
This was the first time the Express was going up against the Mustangs this season and they were hoping to improve on their 1-0 record in the United East.
Unfortunately, SUNY Morrisville had other plans and started the scoring off early jumping out to a 5-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. Quinten Battle was able to get the Express on the board in the second quarter scoring his 17th goal of the season. At the half, the Express was down 12-1. In the second half, the Express found the back of the net 3 more times! Two goals came from Jacob Stine and one from Shane Syms. The Mustangs however would continue to pour on the offense and won this one by a score of 25-4.
