Men's Lacrosse Heads to Hilbert

On Saturday afternoon the Wells College men's lacrosse team traveled to Hilbert College for their final regular-season game.

The Express needed a win this afternoon to have a chance at qualifying for post-season play, but Hilbert is a strong team that was up for the challenge. 

In the first quarter, the Hawks put up 7 goals and followed that up with 9 goals in the second. The Express were stimied on the offensive side and did not score a goal in this game until the second half. In the third quarter, however, both Dakota Swamp and Jacob Stine scored for the Express. Both goals were unassisted. Jacob Stine would go on to score two more times in the 4th quarter and Quinten Battle would find the back of the net as well bringing the Express goals on the day up to 5. The Hawks would keep up the offensive pressure and scoring to win this one by a score of 26-5.
