Wells Express Athletes of The Week 4/6

Congratulations to this week's Athletes of the Week Lauren Spiegel and Quinten Battle!

Lauren Spiegel was selected this week for her performance so far this season for the Wells College women's lacrosse team. So far this season Lauren has 115 saves through 11 games adding up to an average of 10.45 saves per game. This average ranks her in 47th place for the entire Division 3 women's lacrosse goalies! Way to go Lauren! She was nominated by her Head Coach Vic Goeller and this is her first time winning Athlete of The Week! Lauren comes to Wells College from Ballston Lake, NY, and is in her Sophomore year.

Quinten Battle was selected this week based on his performance last week for the men's lacrosse team. For two games last week the Express hosted MCLA and then traveled to St Mary's College of Maryland. In those two games combined, Battle had 5 goals and 3 assists tallying 8 total points! So far on the season, Battle has 24 goals and 12 assists for 36 points! Quinten was nominated by his Head Coach Andrew Daly and this is his first time winning Athlete of The Week! Battle comes to Wells College from Seneca Falls, NY and, is in his senior year!
