Men's Lacrosse Travels to Keuka College

Saturday afternoon brought another road match-up for the Wells College men's lacrosse team.

Today they visited Keuka College for the first time this season. Exactly a week ago, the Express lost their last game at home to Penn College in a United East Conference match-up. today they looked to build some momentum going into their last week of competition.

Keuka, who celebrated their seniors before the game, was more than ready for the challenge. They jumped out to a 5-1 lead over the visiting Express at the end of one-quarter of play. Quinten Battle was the lone goal scorer in the first for Wells College. Battle would go on to score the only goal in the second quarter for the Express as well. Unfortunately, the Keuka Wolves continued to find the back of the net and were leading at halftime 16-2. For the Express, goalie Jeremy Nunez had a school-record 32 saves on the day! The Wolves of Keuka would go on to win this one by a score of 26-4.
