Men's Lacrosse Wins Second Game In A Row

Saturday brought another game for the Wells College men's lacrosse team as they hosted the La Roche College RedHawks.

The Express was coming off a road win from last weekend a Keystone College and hoped to make it two wins in a row.

It did not take long for the Express to get on the board in this one when in the first 30 seconds Quinten Battle gave the Express a 1-0 lead. Jacob Stine would also score in the first quarter and Battle would score once more to make it two goals for him in the first quarter alone. The Express was up 3-0 after the first. The Flood gates opened for the Express in the second quarter partially thanks to a penalty on the Redhawks that was not releasable. We would score 7 goals in the second giving the Express a 10-3 lead heading into half time.

In the second half, the Express offense was able to keep the pressure on the visiting RedHawks as Battle, Stevens, and Swamp all continued to score. Nathan Soliman even chipped in scoring the first goal of his collegiate career. Wells College would go on to win this one and extend their win streak to 2 games by a score of 17-5.

Express Stat Leaders:

Quinten Battle: 7 Goals

Dakota Swamp: 4 Goals

Jeremy Nunez: 19 Saves
