Wells College women's basketball was on the road Saturday for conference match-up at Penn State Abington. The Lions won this one 85-32.
The Express were still looking for their first win of the season Saturday on the road. The Lions built a 22-7 lead in the first quarter of play. Wells struggled offensively in the second quarter only adding 5 points, their lowest quarter total of the day. As the Lions continued to build a lead, the Express added 11 third quarter points but it was not enough to keep up. The Lions would secure a United East conference win at home.
Morgan Adams scored 15 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and had 2 blocks. Sydney Bateman had 12 points and 7 rebounds.
Women's basketball will host Penn College Tuesday evening.
