Women's Basketball Beaten At Home By Abington

Women's basketball was back in action today for another United East match-up with Penn State Abington at home. The Lions would best the Exress in this one, 94-36.

The Express defense came out with some serious energy holding the visitors to just 28% shooting in the first quarter. Morgan Adams and Ai Orita would do most of the scoring to try and keep this one close but the Express were down 18-9 after one quarter. The Express would score 9 more points in the second quarter but the Penn State offense really began to pick up and they took a 46-18 lead into the break. Wells College ended up scoring 18 points in both halves for 36 points on the day, but the visiting Lions of Penn State Abington were relentless in getting shots up and grabbed a road win this afternoon, 94-36.

Morgan Adams had 9 points and 8 rebounds. Ai Orita had 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Women's basketball will be at Penn College this Tuesday.
