Wells Express Athletes Of The Week 1/20

Congratulations to this week's Wells College Express Athletes Of The Week Morgan Adams and Terrance Clayton-Murphy!

Morgan Adams was nominated this week by her head coach Doug Carter after her performances last week in 3 games for the Express. Over that stretch, Morgan averaged 9 points and 8 rebounds a game while swatting 4 shots away. All three games were against conference opponents Penn College, Penn State Harrisburg, and Lancaster Bible College. Morgan Adams is in her junior year at Wells but will graduate after this season. Morgan is from Waverly New York. 

Terrance Clayton-Murphy was nominated this week by his head coach Joe Wojtylko. In three games last week, Terrance averaged 22 points shooting 45% from the field and 38% from behind the arch. He currently is leading the United East conference in scoring with 18.1 points per game. He is also leading the conference in three-point percentage shooting 43% on the season. Terrance is a Junior transfer to Wells College all the way from Lexington Kentucky. 

Both athletes will be in action again tomorrow afternoon when the Express host Penn State Abington.
