Owings Mills, MD-The Wells College softball team (0-4) dropped both games of a non-conference double header to the Stevenson University Mustangs (7-7) by a score of 7-0 in the first game and 12-0 (5 inn.) in the second game on Tuesday afternoon in Owings Mills.
Juli Vibbard (Burlington Falls, NY) led all Express hitters with two hits and two stolen bases. Beth Cereo (Port Biron, NY) suffered the loss allowing seven runs, all earned, while striking out two.
In game two, the Mustangs plated a run in every inning en-route to a 12-0 victory in five innings. Erin Brosnan (Duanesburg, NY) recorded two of the four Express hits, while Alarie Alghali (Washington, D.C.) finished with a hit and walk in two plate appearances.
The Express will next play Morrisville State on Wednesday, March 25th, at 3:30 pm at Morrisiville.
