Wells Men's Lacrosse Honors Seniors, Falls To Morrisville

The Wells College men's lacrosse team celebrated two members of its senior class prior to a North Eastern Athletic Conference game against Morrisville State, which the visiting Mustangs won by a 25-4 score at the Wells Turf Field in Aurora, N.Y. on Saturday, April 6.

The Wells seniors are Charlie Iwuoha, from Queens, N.Y. who is majoring in political science and has started every game for the last three years, and Cash Lawson, from Hilton, N.Y. who was an all-conference selection in 2017. Lawson is majoring in business with a minor in economics.

Nathan Ramsey scored twice and Quinten Battle and Trevor Stein each had one goal. Stein had two assists and seven ground balls.  Jared Shearer made his first start in goal and had eight saves. Justin Dude had three caused turnovers.

Wells is 1-8 on the season and 0-2 in NEAC games. Morrisville State is 3-6 overall and 2-0 in the NEAC. Wells will play again Wednesday at home against Keuka College at 4 p.m.
