Three Men's Lacrosse Players Earn All-NEAC Honors

The Wells College men's lacrosse team had three players recognized on all-conference teams as the North Eastern Athletic Conference announced its all-conference awards and individual honors for the 2019 season. Nathan Ramsey, Quinten Battle, and Cash Lawson were named to the All-NEAC Third Team.

It is the fifth consecutive year that the Express men's lacrosse program has had at least three players earn all-conference recognition.

Cash Lawson, a senior from Hilton, New York, earned Third Team honors at short-stick defensive midfield. Lawson played in a short-stick role for most of the year and also took the most faceoffs for the Express this season. He led Wells with 57 ground balls and added 13 caused turnovers. He had career highs with six goals, seven assists, and 13 points. Lawson earned the second all-conference honor of his career as he was a Third Team selection at defense in 2017.

Quinten Battle, a freshman from Seneca Falls, New York, earned Third Team honors at attack. He led Wells and ranks eighth in the conference with 32 goals and is second on the team with 39 points. Battle had eight games out of 14 where he scored three goals or more.

Nathan Ramsey, a junior from Phelps, New York, led Wells with 14 assists and 43 points. He earned Third Team honors at midfield. Ramsey ranked in the top-20 in the NEAC in goals, assists, and points. Ramsey had at least one point in all 14 Wells games, and had multi-point efforts in 13 games.
