The Wells College men's lacrosse team lost 23-4 to visiting Morrisville State College on Friday, April 7 at the Wells Turf Field in Aurora, N.Y. The game was played under cold, windy, snowy conditions.
Wells got first-quarter goals from Josh Delaney and Aaron Heisey. Brady Hoose and Tanner Mingen scored in the third quarter.
Wells goalkeeper Nick Hallinan made 10 saves. Mingen was 3-for-4 at the faceoff X. Heisey led Wells with seven ground balls. Brendan O'Connor and Mingen each had two caused turnovers.
Morrisville remained undefeated in NEAC play with a 3-0 record, and is 4-4 overall. Wells is 2-5 on the season with a 1-2 record in conference games.
The Express returns to action Wednesday, April 12 at home against Bryn Athyn College at 4 p.m.
