Express Fall To Suffolk In Myrtle Beach

Wells College baseball capped off their trip to Myrtle Beach with a game against the Suffolk Rams Wednesday afternoon.

The Rams started the scoring early in the bottom of the second. They pushed across 6 runs on a few walks, a hit, and a wild pitch to put the Express in a big hole early on. In the top of the third Wells answered back when Jacobi James doubled home two runs to cut into the Ram's lead. Later on, in the 7th inning, James would smack another double that once again sent home two runs for Wells College. Unfortunately, in the bottom of the third, the Rams added 3 runs, then, in the 6th and 7th inning, Suffolk combined for 7 more runs to extend their lead. Max Odum, Zack Odum, and Nick Manee all had stolen bases on the day but Wells fell 16-5.

Baseball will open up conference play on Friday at St Mary's College of Maryland at 3 PM
