'On This Day' Paulino and Bullock Pace Express Past Saxons

'On This Day' is a Wells College Athletics feature series taking a look back on events that occurred on this day, Nov. 24, eleven years ago in 2009.

Aurora, NY – Juan Paulino finished with 17 points and 17 rebounds and Darrell Bullock added a game-high 20 points as the Wells College men's basketball team beat the Alfred University Saxons 75-55 on Tuesday night, Nov. 24, 2009, at Alfred.

The Express held a 22-point lead after halftime and led by as many as 26 points in the second half as they cruised to the victory.

Rionn Pradia chipped in with a season-high 13 points while Greg Jones finished with 11 points.

The Express shot 50 percent from the floor, out rebounding the Saxons 46-29, while holding the Saxon offense to a dozen points in the paint and 31 percent shooting from the floor.

Paulino's double-double marked the third of the season for the senior center, while Bullock has now recorded 20 points or more in three of the first four games of the season.
