Men's Volleyball Hosts Thiel Tomcats

Wells College men's volleyball hosted the Thiel College Tomcats on Wednesday evening for a conference match-up. 

Thiel is currently in third place in the conference with a 7-2 conference record. Earlier this season, they defeated the Express 3-0 at Thiel College.

Today, the first set started with the Express falling behind 13-6 to the Tomcats. Some serves from Harrison Keena cut the lead down to 4, but the Express offense stalled at 14 and fell 25-14 in the first set. the second set was all Tomcats, most of the runs by Thiel College in the second set were stopped by themselves on attack or service errors. The Tomcats took set two, 25-9. The Express hung around for the first half of the third set until they fell behind 12-6 forcing a home timeout. From there, the Tomcats continued to go on a run until it was stopped by a Theil Service error giving Mason Moon a chance to close the gap. Unfortunately, the Express would come up short and fall 25-13. 

Men's volleyball will hit the road Saturday to take on St Vincent in Pennsylvania at 1 PM.
