Men's Volleyball Drops Road Contest at St Vincent's

Wells College men's volleyball took on St Vincent's Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match-up.

The Express opened a 14-11 lead in the first set against the Bearcats. They even extended the lead to 17-12 after a couple of kills from Billy McCrae. However, the bearcats would then go on a smoking hot run giving them a 22-19 lead over Wells College. A late kill by Billy McCrae could not save the Express from dropping the first set, 25-20. The Express jumped ahead again in the second set 4-1 but the Bearcats came battling back. They battled Wells to a 14-14 tie, and from there they would go on a 5-point run stopped by a kill from Billy McCrae. the Bearcats also won the second set on a final service error from Wells College.  In the third set, Wells trailed the entire match cutting the lead to 4 at one point, but the Express ultimately fell, 25-17.

Men's volleyball will return to action this Wednesday at Hilbert.
