On Saturday, The Wells College softball team was back in action!
They hosted Penn State Berks for their second day in a row of weekend games. On Friday they dropped two games at home to Penn State Abington.
In the first game, Berks jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Express's Shay Gonzalez had the only hit of the game in the second inning. Penn State Berks would take the first game, 23-0.
In the second game, The Express was plagued with errors and walks that helped Penn State Berks jump out to an 11-0 lead in the first inning. Berks would follow that up with a 7-run second inning. Tori Miller would smash the only hit for the Express this game in the 3rd inning! Berks would take both games from the Express, this one by a score of 27-0.
