Women's Hoops hosts Cazenovia College

The Express hosted Cazenovia College for an afternoon contest on Sunday. 

The Express was coming off of a loss to Elmira College the day before.

The Wildcats came out and took an immediate lead over the Express. The Express were able to get some buckets in transition but found themselves down by a score of 21-11 at the end of the first. 

The second quarter brought some more of the same as the Wildcats built on their lead and went into halftime leading the Express by a score of 43-18.

The Offense struggled for the Express in the 3rd quarter going 0-12 from the field and only being able to produce a point from the foul line. In the end, the Express fell to the visiting Wildcats by a score of 74-30.

"We know where we can get better and we will continue to work on those. We are only two games in and there are good things we can build on moving forward." Coach Tara Ruckh.

Women's basketball will be back in action next Saturday at SUNY Canton at 2 PM!
