Wells Express Athletes of The Week 2/9

Congratulations to this week's Athletes of the Week Morgan Adams and Ivan Oduro-Dompreh!

Morgan was selected this week based on her performances last week for women's basketball! On the road against Penn St Berks Morgan scored 15 points, grabbed 17 rebounds, had 3 assists and 2 steals. She helped lead the Express to their second win of the season! Morgan was nominated by her coach Tara Ruckh. Adams is a business major and comes to Wells from Waverly, NY. this is her 3rd time winning Athlete of the Week! "Morgan has continued to improve this season and it's nice to see her have a game like this where she was able to put it all together." Head Coach Tara Ruckh.

Ivan was selected this week based on his performances last week for the men's basketball team as they went 2-0 on the week. When the Express hosted Morrsivile, Ivan had 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks. He also threw down a program-record 4 dunks! On the road on Saturday at Berks, he has 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 more blocks. Oh, and 2 more dunks. Have a week big fella! Ivan was nominated by his coach Joe Wojytlko.  Ivan is a first-year student for Wells coming to us from Howard County, Maryland. "He's been fun to watch this year, there are always areas to improve but for a first-year student to come in and play as he has is big time." head Coach Joe Wojtylko. This is Ivan's first time winning Athlete of The Week!
