The Bison Challenge The Express at Home

Friday night brought a familiar foe to Wells College as the Gallaudet Bison made the trip up from D.C. to challenge the Express at home. 

Women's Basketball was hoping to gain their second win of the season tonight while the Bison looked to solidify their top spot in the United East standings. 

In the first quarter, Express was able to create some screen and roll opportunities but did not always capitalize on them shooting only 5-15 from the floor. In the second quarter, they became plagued by turnovers notching 13 alone in the second quarter. This helped the Bison build a 47-16 lead going into halftime. 

In the third quarter, Morgan Adams carried the Express offense scoring 8 points on 4-5 shooting from the field. this helped the Express post their highest output yet in the game with 13 points in the 3rd. However, the Bison continued to build a  lead and cruised to victory by a score of 80-38.
