On Friday night the Wells Express women's basketball team hit the road to take on Penn State Harrisburg.
PSH came into the game with a record of 4-3 while the Express were still looking to capture their first win of the season.
The Express head into this game without starting point guard Maggie Myers who will most likely miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
Unfortunately, the Express's offensive struggles continued on the road as they were only able to muster 2 points in the first half. They held PSH to only 26 points, however, they were not able to score to close the gap.
The scoring picked up in the second half for the Express as they scored 15 points. However, this was not enough to overcome the offense of PSH and they secured the victory over the visiting Express by a score of 62-17.
Express Leading Scorers
Lydia Thomas - 6 points
Caroline Barr - 5 points
Women's basketball will be back in action tomorrow against Lancaster Bible!
