Women's Basketball Secures First Win of The Season

On Friday night Penn State Berks came to Wells College for a women's basketball evening match-up.
Heading into tonight's game both the Wells Express and the visiting Penn State Berks were winless on the season. Someone would be getting their first win of the season.
The Express came out hungry for that first win jumping out to a 21-7 lead by the second quarter. Heading into halftime they were able to build on their lead going up by a score of 31-12.
In the second half, the visiting Berks made a couple of runs and gave the Express all they could handle. But thanks to some solid defense and key scoring the Express were able to secure their first win of the season by a score of 54-38.

The Express will travel tomorrow to Penn State Abington!
