Express Women take on Penn College

On Wednesday night the Express omen's basketball team hosted Penn College for another United East match-up.

The Express were still looking to capture their first win and hoped they could outlast the Bobcats at home this evening. 

The Bobcats, unfortunately, came out red hot jumping out to a 38-8 lead over the Express at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Express struggled on offense mustering only 5 points and giving the Bobcats a half-time lead of 47-13.

In the second half, the Express was able to create some shot-making opportunities with good offensive action but it was not enough to keep up with Penn College who knocked off the Express at home by a score of 77-33.

Morgan Adams: 11pts, 8rbs

Caroline Barr: 7pts, 6rbs

Women's basketball will be back in action on Friday when they host Penn St Berks.
