Women's Hoops Hosts Utica College

On Wednesday night the Wells College Express women's basketball team hosted the Utica College Pioneers.

The Pioneers were undefeated so far this season with a record of 6-0 while the Express came in with a record of 0-6.

In the first quarter, the Express fell behind early to the Pioneers offense falling behind by a score of 17-6. Unfortunately, the offensive struggles for the Express returned in the second quarter where they only scored 2 points and went into halftime down by a score of 43-8.

In the second half, the Express did their best to keep the Pioneers at bay but were plagued by turnovers. they ultimately fell at home to Utica by a score of 91-17.

Caroline Barr - 4 points

Women's basketball will be back in action Friday at home against Houghton College at 6 pm!
