Express Men's Hoops Takes Down Houghton

On Thursday night the Wells Express Men's Basketball team traveled to Houghton College for an evening match-up.

The Express was coming off of a road win on Tuesday at Hilbert College and looked to secure back-to-back road victories before winter break. Houghton College has been winless so far this year with a record of 0-7.

The first half actually saw the Express fall behind the Highlanders by a score of 16-11. The Express offense later exploded for a lead, led by Ty McBride giving the Express a first-half lead of 47-29.

In the second half, both teams began to really fire on offense and no matter what the Highlanders threw at the Express, we had an answer. The Express were able to close out the second consecutive road win by a score of 101-87.

Dylan Perry - 17 points

Jarek Feliz - 15 points

The Express will be back in action on January 8th vs Penn State Berks.
