Men's Basketball Faces Off With the Mustangs

On Thursday night the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs visited the Wells College Express.

The Express were looking to close out conference play in the United East strong with another win over the Mustangs. 

The first half saw an energized Express team jump out to a 22 point lead (26-4) over the visiting Mustangs. Some early Dunks from Ivan Oduro-Dompreh helped the Express gain the lead and they looked to build on it. However, the Mustangs would not go quietly. Tron Smith for SUNY Morrisville carried the Mustangs back into it and helped them cut the lead from 22 down to just 4 at halftime (40-36).

In the second half, however, the Express took control. The Express were able to keep Smith from scoring as much and had some even offensive output between Rodriguez, Feliz, and Oduro-Dompreh. The Express sealed the win by a score of 87-74 and get one step closer to securing a post-season birth.
