Wells Express Athletes of The Week 1/12
Congratulations to this week's Athletes of the Week Alexis Huff and Ransel Rodriguez!
Alexis was selected this week based on her performance last weekend against Penn State Altoona and Medaille College. Alexis took off 4 seconds in both her 200 FR and 100 Fly! Alexis was nominated by her head coach Trish George. This is Alexis' senior year here at Wells where she also plays on the women's soccer team. She Comes to Wells College from Baldwinsville, NY. This is Alexis' first time winning Athlete Of The Week!
Ransel was selected this week based on his performances last weekend for the men's basketball team against Gallaudet and St Mary's (MD). At Gallaudet Ransel had 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists! Against St Mary's (MD) he had 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists! Ransel was nominated by his head coach Joe Wojtylko. He comes to Wells College from Manhattan, NY. This is Ransel's first time winning Athlete of The Week!
