Rodriguez named Rookie of The Year
Congratulations to Ransel Rodriguez on being selected as the Rookie of The Year in the United East Conference!
Ransel Rodriguez, in his first season for the Express, averaged 15.5 points, 6.6 assists, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.2 steals! One of his most impressive games was at Penn State Berks where he had 37 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Rodriguez started 24 out of 25 games for the Express this season and scored in double figures in 18 of those games. He also had 7 games where he dished double-digit assists and 4 games where he grabbed double-digit rebounds. From the floor, Rodriguez shot 46% and from three-point land, he shot 38%. From the foul line, he shot 78%.
"Ransel has had a great year and it's been fun to watch his improvement in just this season alone. If he continues to work hard as he does we will have some exciting years ahead." Head Coach Joe Wojtylko.
