McBride Selected By United East!
Congratulations to Junior Guard Ty McBride for being selected as the United East Conference Men's Basketball Player of The Week!
In two games last week he shot over 50% from the floor and the 3 point line and averaged 27.5 points in a 2-0 week. Also was 17-21 from the free-throw line in those 2 games.
vs Hilbert (29 points, 8-14 FG, 4-7 3pfg, 5r, 2a, 2stl)
vs Houghton (26 points, 7-13 FG, 4-8 3pfg, 4r, 4a, 1stl)
"He was a steady hand for our team in both games last week. We will need more of his leadership moving forward. This recognition is well deserved" Head Coach Joe Wojtylko.
Ty is a Junior here at Wells College from Orange Park Florida. He is studying Business.
