On Friday night the Gallaudet Bison traveled, through all the snow, to visit the Wells College Express for a Unite East Match-up.
This would be the 10th straight United East match-up for the Express in which they have a record of 6-3. They Hoped to solidify a post-season spot with some key wins this weekend.
The Express started out the game a bit sluggish falling behind very early 5-2 to the visiting Bison. Thanks to some early buckets from Jarek Feliz, the Express were able to take the lead in the first half and hold on to it for a while. They built an 11-7 lead up to a 34-25 lead heading into halftime.
In the second half, the Express were able to maintain the lead over the Bison thanks in part to some Bench scoring from Don Mays Jr. Mays finished with 12 points in 22 minutes of play and buoyed the Express to another United East victory by a score of 69-50.
