Wells College men's volleyball was in a 5-game battle Wednesday versus the Highlanders of Houghton University and fell short (25-27, 25-15, 25-17, 25-27, 13-15). All five games were back and forth with both teams taking the lead in each set. Wells had an opportunity to secure the win in the 4th set, but the Highlanders battled right back to force a 5th set. Confidence Burrowes led the way for the Express with 18 kills, Isayah Johnson added 14 kills and Conor Garvey had 12 kills. Alex Anderson had two service aces, Mason Moon had 33 assists and 14 digs, along with Jacob Sehn.
The Express are back in action Sunday, February 18th when they host Northern Vermont - Johnson College in a double match at 12 and 2pm.
