Express Fall in Road-Trip Finale to Tough Altoona Squad
The Express men's volleyball squad fell on Friday night in what was their 2nd long road trip in 3 days as they traveled to take on Penn St. - Altoona in another AMCC showdown. The grueling AMCC schedule has presented many challenges for the Express, and has allowed them to grow exponentially as a team during their first year in the conference.
That growth is easily apparent when looking at first year stronghold Jacob Sehn who had another double-digit dig performance, putting an end to 11 Altoona attacks.
Senior Billy McCrae also had a good attacking day, finding the gaps in the opposing defense to the tune of 6 kills.
Isayah Johnson recorded 2 solo blocks during the match, stopping Altoona attackers at very opportune times to stifle the host's momentum.
The Express return home this Wednesday when they welcome Penn St. - Behrend to Schwartz. The matchup vs Behrend will be the 1st of 2 remaining home gamedays for the Express.
