Weekend Split For Men's Volleyball

The Wells College men's volleyball team split a pair of weekend North Eastern Athletic Conference matches in taking on St. Elizabeth and Lancaster Bible College. Wells defeated St. Elizabeth in three sets on Friday night and fell in four sets at Lancaster Bible on Saturday.

The Express stands at 17-7 on the year and 5-1 in NEAC matches. Wells has clinched a berth in the NEAC playoffs with two conference matches remaining.

Wells 3, St. Elizabeth 0

Set scores were 25-5, 25-10, 25-7. The Express totaled 40 kills with six errors over the match, a .557 hitting percentage which is the second-best single-match hitting percentage in program history.

Kevin Batmunkh had 11 kills and a .588 hitting percentage. Caden O'Loughlin had nine kills and Jonathan Haines added six. Josh Undari had 31 assists. Batmunkh and Robert Patzer each had nine digs. Wells served 15 aces, including five from O'Loughlin, four from Haines, and three from Batmunkh.

Lancaster Bible 3, Wells 1

In a matchup of conference leaders, Lancaster Bible came away with a four-set win by scores of 25-18, 25-19, 23-25, 25-23.

Brannon Perdicho led Wells with 14 kills and Caden O'Loughlin had 10. Josh Undari had 35 assists. O'Loughlin and Scott Litvin each had 10 digs. Jonathan Haines had one solo block and two block assists.
