Men's Volleyball Winning Streak Ends At Rivier

The Wells College men's volleyball team fell in three sets at Rivier University inside the Muldoon Gymnasium in Nashua, N.H. With the win, the host Raiders improved their record to 8-5 overall on the season while the Express fell to 7-4.

Set scores were 25-19, 25-18 and 25-23.

Rivier has won three matches in a row, including a three-set sweep of 11th-ranked Wentworth earlier this week. Wells swept Regis College on Friday night and saw a three-match winning streak come to an end.

Wells was led by senior Brannon Perdicho who hammered down 11 kills and sophomore Caden O'Loughlin provided additional support with eight kills. Sophomore setter Josh Undari handed out 18 helpers to go with his nine digs and senior Mike Hartman scooped up 10 digs.

An additional match scheduled for Saturday against Pine Manor College was canceled as Pine Manor was unable to bring a full team to the matches.

Wells will return to action on Friday afternoon, Feb. 16, as they take on Nazareth College and Johnson & Wales University.
